According to the Article 311 of the Presidency Decree Law No.1, published on the Official Gazette No. 30474 dated 10/7/2018, the duties of the Directorate General are as follows:

Directorate General of Innovation and Educational Technologies

ARTICLE 311 - (1) The duties and authorities of the Directorate General of Innovation and Educational Technologies include:

a.      Carrying out tasks related to supporting education by technology;

b.      Carrying out tasks related to the use of information technologies and products in educational activities;

c.      Preparing or having prepared; publishing or having published programs, films, etc. based on information and communication technologies for informal education;

d.    Tracking and assessing the new technologies and developments in education;

e.     Enabling the nationwide use of technological opportunities in education in an effective and extensive way, and utilization of information technologies by each student;

f.      Performing other tasks assigned by the Minister.
