The Tasks of the Department of the Educational Technologies Development and Projects:
a) Planning, implementing, evaluating and preparing final reports of the researches needed by the activity field of the Directorate General;
b) Developing and implementing projects that are focused on innovative solutions according to the needs;
c) Cooperating with related units; designing implementation plans; providing the transformation of the project into sustainable work processes;
d) Carrying out national and international projects on the technology-supported education;
e) Carrying out national and international new applications and scientific developments in education;
f) Cooperating with public and private institutions in order to research and develop the technology;
g) Carrying out the works for developing the standards of educational tools and environment and for compatibility tests;
h) Preparing the strategical plan of the Directorate General; following its implementation and assessing the results;
i) Determining short, medium and long term strategies in coordination with the other related departments and units for the use of new technologies in education; creating action plans according to the strategies determined; carrying out activities so that they could be implemented in coordination with the related departments and units;
j) Planning and implementing the teacher/personnel trainings according to the activity fields of the Directorate General;
k) Managing the works related to the information through DYS, BGYS, KYS, BİMER;
l) Realising the other tasks assigned by the chiefs.
Coordinatorship of Planning
a) Identifying the technology based research needs;
b) Managing the research processes based on sustainability;
c) Creating activity plans;
d) Identifying the research priorities;
e) Preparing the strategic plan for the Directorate General; following its organization, finalising and assessing it;
f) Following the new implementations and scientific developments in the field of education; evaluating them and sharing them with the related departments and units;
g) Organizing the websites for the departments;
h) Managing the works related to the information through DYS, BGYS, KYS, BİMER;
i) Realising the other tasks assigned by the chiefs.
Coordinatorship of National Researches
a) Creating teams for the researches;
b) Identifying the working processes of works with these teams;
c) Determining the tasks for the research teams;
d) Coordinating the works of the research teams;
e) Assessing and finalising the research consent demands;
f) Supporting the researches on the technology supported education;
g) Managing the works related to the information through DYS, BGYS, KYS, BİMER;
h) Realising the other tasks assigned by the chiefs.
Coordinatorship of International Researches and Projects
a) Coordinating the projects works relating the technology supported education;
b) Assessing the projects results and sharing them with the related departments and units in order for them to contribute to the educational system;
c) Carrying out the international researches on educational technologies;
d) Managing the works related to the information through DYS, BGYS, KYS, BİMER;
e) Realising the other tasks assigned by the chiefs.
Coordinatorship of Educational Services
a) Planning the trainings for the activity fields of the Directorate General based on the need analysis of the trainings;
b) Carrying out the planned activities with the Directorates General;
c) Carrying out the distant trainings in coordination with the related units;
d) Cooperating with the related units on the evaluation of the educational processes;
e) Identifying and assigning the personnel to attend in the local and central educational studies;
f) Recording statistics on and reporting the trainings completed;
g) Managing the works related to the information through DYS, BGYS, KYS, BİMER;
h) Realising the other tasks assigned by the chiefs.
