The Tasks of the Department of Educational Technologies and Skills Development:

ARTICLE 28 - (1) The duties of the Educational Technologies and Skills Development Department are as follows:

a) To make training needs analyzes and to carry out in-service and professional development trainings for teachers/staff so that they can adapt to innovative technologies and use these technologies effectively,

b) To carry out the training activities planned based on the needs analysis together with the relevant general directorates, to determine the personnel who will participate in the local and central training activities with the relevant units and to ensure that they are assigned,

c) To carry out the training activities to be carried out by distance and face-to-face education method in cooperation with the relevant units,

ç) To cooperate with the relevant units in the evaluation of in-service and project-based training processes, to keep and report statistical data on the trainings,

d) To coordinate the coordinators and trainers working in the provinces and districts,

e) To perform other duties assigned by the superiors.

 

Digital skills development coordinator

ARTICLE 42 - (1) The duties of the digital skills development coordinator are as follows:

a) Carrying out studies on technology-supported innovative education fields,

b) Carrying out studies to improve the digital skills of students and teachers in areas such as information technologies, methods and tools, and innovative education methods,

c) Based on training needs analysis; Planning, implementing and executing teacher/staff trainings for the activities of the General Directorate,

ç) To provide teacher training in coordination with the relevant units for the effective use of EBA and digital content development,

d) Producing/providing training content in coordination with relevant units based on training needs analysis,

e) To perform other duties assigned by the superiors.

 

Professional development coordinator

ARTICLE 43 - (1) The duties of the professional development coordinator are as follows:

a) To plan, implement and carry out teacher/staff in-service training and professional development activities to be carried out by distance and face-to-face education method,

b) To carry out the planned training activities together with the relevant general directorates,

c) To determine the personnel who will participate in local and central training activities and to ensure that they are assigned,

ç) To keep and report statistical data regarding the trainings,

d) To perform other duties assigned by the superiors.

 

Education support coordinator

ARTICLE 44 - (1) The duties of the education support coordinator are as follows:

a) To provide and coordinate the assignments of coordinators and trainers working in provinces and districts,

b) To provide installation, promotion and information activities in the provinces and districts with the relevant departments, when necessary, regarding the projects carried out under the responsibility of the General Directorate,

c) To carry out the relevant assignment studies in the provinces and districts related to the projects carried out under the responsibility of the General Directorate,

ç) To keep and report statistical data on the work done,

d) To perform other duties assigned by the superiors.
