EDUSIMSTEAM Project International Management Meeting was Held in Ankara

The management meeting of the Fostering STEAM Education in Schools EDUSIMSTEAM (Developing STEAM Education in Schools) project, which is an Innovative Policy Initiative activity in the Erasmus+ main action 3 field, coordinated by the General Directorate of Innovation and Educational Technologies, was held in Ankara on 9-11 March 2022. 

At the meeting, evaluations were made on the last stage of the project. The process was discussed with technical presentations. Particular attention was paid to what should be done by the project partners in order to improve the project results. Moreover; The overall management process and progress of the project were discussed. The plans for the project stages and dissemination activities were discussed and the results were presented.

What is the EDUSIMSTEAM Project?

The EDUSIMSTEAM project, which started in 2020 and is planned to be completed in 2023, involving ministries of education, universities, educational institutions and private sector organizations from the Netherlands, Lithuania, Portugal, Ireland, Spain and Turkey, aims to teach science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics in schools. It aims to offer innovative methods and technological tools to teachers and students in an interdisciplinary manner. Within the scope of the project, algorithm and coding studies aimed at improving the STEAM skills of teachers and students in K-12 schools will be carried out in an online simulation environment that will be developed within the scope of the project.
